The Challenge
Neutrogena is considered an industry leader in skincare & hair care products, and is widely represented in more than 70 countries around the world. Evergreen Digital were tasked to help launch the Neutrogena Hydro Boost range in the Amazon UK marketplace. This included extensive keyword research, creating SEO-driven sales copy and advising on the production of Amazon-optimised gallery & A+ Content images.
The Solution
Our initial focus was on conducting comprehensive market and competitor research. The results of this directly filtered into our analysis and subsequent selection of the Hydro Boost key product claims featured in the bullet points.
Secondly, we analysed thousands of search terms collected from advertising reports, brand analytics, and advanced software, ordering them into a curated list of the highest-performing keywords. Collaborating with the Neutrogena brand leaders and medical team, we generated new detail pages for each of the required products and strategically synthesized the keywords into the copy, positioning it for optimum readability and organic ranking.
Working alongside the image team, we created on-brand taglines that mirrored the sales copy, creating coherence and consistency to drive marketing effectiveness. The sales copy and A+ content functioned within the framework of the Hydro Boost brand, converting traffic into sales and demonstrating brand value.
The Result
Evergreen Digital helped position Neutrogena Hydro Boost to dominate the keyword rankings in Amazon UK, with an estimated monthly revenue of over £150,000 from the Water Gel Moisturiser alone.
Since the success of Neutrogena, Evergreen Digital has been involved in a series of additional Amazon UK launch projects for Johnson & Johnson, working for their brands Calpol, Aveeno and Listerine.
